PPCR was established in 1971 as a small, personalised agency without the desire to develop into a ‘faceless’ research factory like so many of the UK (or, more accurately, European or global) agencies of today.

Whether you are considering dipping into market research for the first time, or want to trade up to an experienced agency with a great track record, we will make you feel comfortable from proposal stage through to finished report. We talk to you in English and not research-speak.

We will give you a free written proposal setting out how we recommend you use market research to look into your marketing/advertising issue(s), with clear costing options. You will find we are very competitive. You then make up your mind if you wish to take things further. There is absolutely no obligation.

If we feel your issue cannot be appropriately addressed using market research, we will tell you so!

Tony Moore has a BA degree in Sociology, and has provided a continuous service to many outstandingly successful marketing-orientated  companies over the last thirty years. (He has been a full member of the Market Research for over thirty years).

We have traditionally used face-to-face methods but are now often recommending to our clients that in many cases online methods are quicker, more cost-effective and now achieve high levels of reliability.

One of the largest independent pharmaceutical manufacturers in the UK, and currently expanding rapidly.
Manufacturer of well-known brands such as: Hedrin, Covonia, Setlers, Zoflora and the Care range.
PPCR has worked extensively on these major brands for T&R over the last 15 years – using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
PPCR also looked at new brand acquisitions (such as Ladival sun protection and Cetraben skin care ranges) to gain a full understanding of their specific markets and to gain directions for marketing/advertising strategies.

Gtech

Gtech’s first highly successful launch (the Air Ram cordless vacuum cleaner) in 2012 was researched pre-launch by PPCR.

Seven Seas
One of the biggest manufacturers of VMS (vitamins, minerals and supplements) in Europe.
PPCR have conducted well over 100 projects for Seven Seas and were instrumental in researching and advising on their expansion from a cod liver oil based manufacturer into a much broader base – now selling a huge variety of vitamins and minerals.

Screwfix Direct
The UK’s largest direct and online supplier of trade tools, accessories and hardware products. PPCR looked into how the catalogue was used by the trade.

Aldi
PPCR investigated how the Aldi customer ‘shopped’ the store, and what changes they wished to see.

Shearings
The UK’s largest coach operators and one of the UK’s leading holiday companies specialising in holidays for the mature customer.
